You know what worries me. That some bright spark in the Libs will wake up and orchestrate a coup again Abbott, replacing him with Julie. She of the laser deathstare, but undeniable competence.

I like Julie purely for that fact just looking at her she seems mean and dangerous

Abbott, Rudd , Gillard, Rudd , Howard, Keating, Hawke, Fraser, Whitlam ....... They're the ones I remember living under..... And we still live in the greatest Nation on the planet, so they must be doing something right, mostly

Bishop would make Lady Macbeth look like Florence Nightingale.

Still like her better than Abbott though.

Default As plain as Knight and Dame.

Former Liberal Party leader Malcolm Turnbull remains more popular than Tony Abbott, according to the media.
...

English comedian Russell Brand weighed in recently on the tragic Sydney siege. http://www.brisbanetimes.comr

Quote:
"Terrorism is typically conducted in order to meet an objective. This guy, when he was asked what he wanted, he asked for a flag and a chat on the phone with Tony Abbott. No specific agenda, no specific objective.

"By us labelling him a terrorist as opposed to a dangerous mentally ill – not that all mentally ill people are dangerous, I'm mentally ill – and by allowing him to set the agenda of 'I'm doing this on behalf of Islam', it gives a certain grandeur to nihilistic and violent actions but what's more interesting that the actions of a mentally ill person is the response of the political establishment.

..."Terrorism is continually used as a tool to control a domestic population. I'm not saying there aren't a lot of dangerous people out there, I'm saying a lot of those people are in government."
While personally not wanting to belittle the lives that were lost, nor the trauma those involved experienced, we can be certain this event will be recalled when the push comes for mandatory metadata retention.

If Bishop is the best they can do to replace Abbott, then they may as well blow up the Liberal Party, and let another, less demented, collection of people become the token conservative Party in Australia.

Turnbull is a smart and appealing leader-- to me the best that Australia has. Kevin Rudd is plenty smart, but so incredibly full of himself that his talents are of little use . . .

If Turnbull were truly smart he would have shelved his support of climate change

Wheres the win win - increasing costs on business but not reducing emissions overall
You do that and your making your own businesses less competitive

If he had done so he'd still be leader of the liberal party

Australia could reduce pollution to 0 and that would make no difference at all worldwide
We are nothing in terms of size or output.

His public support of climate change at the time was just plain stupid but typical of an alpha male who thought he had the midas touch

Julie's death stare started when she and I were on a date , I was the toy-boy obviously and after one thing lead to another, I proceeded to drop my trousers...
