Good reasons to visit the Sponsors

What you need actual reasons ? ,well how about the excellent one you're on right now this forum. I mean sure the contributors keep it pumping while the Admin and Mod`s keep it healthy , but the Sponsors are at the heart of it`s survival. So why not visit them every time you log on as a way of showing appreciation ?, i do and it doesn`t cost a cent or take but a seconds effort

So sure sponsors abound but they keep this forum around, seems fair to me especially as the hang out stays free

Due to the magical workings of the Firefox thingy,I can no longer see ads,but if it is what I remember,pictures of available girls in my local area,then I do not feel it is appropriate on a vintage forum.

Many classic stars such as Mai Lin and Olivia Del Rio,are available for hire in Europe and the US,and a site advertising their services would be far better.

Jesus I've just noticed the exchange rate.

How do you dasable that Firefox thingy.

No i meant as in this site is a porn forum ,and so mainly populated by males and so by default there`s a better than average chance at least some of them will be horny .Hence the type of sponsors we`re lucky to get ,who`ll be interested in paying money to keep this site running. But hey if you can go out and get Bernie and the like to peel off a few quid to help out here do be my guest and try.

As they`ve got classy sponsors eh ? , guess you haven't looked beyond the shiny placards or colourful badges and at the actual national conglomerates themselves . You know the ones who own those companies that sponsor ,those classy outfits who make their profits from grinding others down or pumping poisons into our systems .

Now me i would never be shortsighted enough or stupid enough to disrespect sponsors (Even in jest) who enable this forum to survive , but then that`s not my fault , just blame my rational brain.

I understand revenue comes from sponsors and I am all for forum members doing their part.
But, I resent pop up ad's and I will not do my part to create revenue for a sponsor with dubious tactics.
Ultimately this falls on the forum administration.If the company wants to advertise here, there should be limits as to what's acceptable.A banner? sure, I'll click.The pop ups piss me off.

Sometimes i forget there are pop ups on sites as i block all mine anyway as a matter of course,so wasn't even thinking about that.Hmmm no wonder i`ve been negged by a couple of brave fellows (Or the same one ) on here for being so sacrilegious as to even mention this matter. Only i was talking about the banners themselves not those other types of adverts, and i feel my point be valid if not very palatable .
Mainly as i have this worrying worry that if for whatever reason members don't bother visiting those sponsors, they then might re-think their presently forum supportive position leaving us all high and dry. Mind you i`m sure these worries of mine are groundless , not as if there`s been a recent precedent set for everything formerly considered secure going tits up or anything .

Do you mean AdBlock Plus? You can disable AdBlock Plus for each specific page by just right clicking on the 'ABP' red button on your Firefox browser and make your selection.

What the red box with ugly mingers playing crap badly distorted music that breaks your speakers before you log in. I'm trying to find a way to block the bugger.

As someone said above. I'm all for banners and stuff but pop ups i resent and oppose, i got a virus of one once... once bitten.

And i reeeeeeeally hate adverts that has music or stupid sound effects that you cant turn off which makes me navigate AWAY from the page rather than stay on it.
