[MB follow up] Busty Blonde "Eve" - Gem - October 1979
mod edit: followup for this post
------ That is a tough one - I tried pinning that down before name-wise, but she seems to have a different name under each publisher. And GEM/BUF sometimes used different names for each layout (and in the same issue a few times!) ((Funny, the B&W is one of the few where she didn't look stoned..)) I'll make another effort...

I believe she's called Sharon Kramer in 1970s Challenge Publications magazines. (Candid, Cavalcade, Night and Day, etc)

Yes, I have her as appearing in Cavalcade (Dec '79) but only as 'Bill's Dairy Queen' in a boy/girl set. Also in Cavalcade Galacolorama (Winter '74) but alas I can't confirm if she was named - although there was someone else called Sharon in that issue…

Yes, that is correct. Several years ago I responded to a listing of that issue; the seller included some photos and mentioned "Sharon & Bunny" in the listing title. (The photos also included Julie Parpon but he didn't mention her.) From the photos, I recognized them as Sharon Kramer and Bunny Decker (aka Bunny Dukes in other mags). I still have the email and found it with a name search. In early quarterly special issues like Galacolorama, first and last names were usually listed on contents pages, so the seller should have known them if he had looked at the contents page, which he probably didn't; he never includes contents pages with his listings. Sharon Kelly was called "Sara Keene" in 1974 issues of Challenge mags. CAVALCADE GALACOLORAMA 1974 buxom Sharon & Bunny |

Further (initial) observations re. the above resource: the names are probably not made-up but still it's not quite the same as having/seeing the published (e.g. mag.) evidence. Not unlike other resources such as erotic art a to z website.
Some models have been given different names--e.g. Martina Songer instead called Maria-Priscilla. Also dating seems askew--Anita Hemmings & Geneva Lombardi in 1960s instead of 1970s, & there's several other such decade-misalignments. Some in 1990s perhaps should be in 1980s, etc.? It looks like a personal project rather than "institutional"/something collective? Nothing wrong with that, again, but perhaps shades/colours the matter, somewhat? No references for origin of names--i.e. risk of possibly going in circles: they (could have) used vef & vef/mir then cites them back? |
