I used to be someone else in this forum. Lost my password and started again. No I was not banned!!!! I did however have a few "discussions" with Billy. Nothing acrimonious just thought he was a little crazy! I kind of enjoyed ribbing Bunter.

I can't believe he is dead!!! Seriously it is hard to get a handle on how old, or young people are in this forum, especially if the don't say! I am shocked Billy is dead!

Seemed like a good guy if a little off his rockers on certain things.

Can I ask how does VEF know when a member has passed away? Just curious. I expect a close friend has informed the admin or another member who knows the real name might update the forum but if I passed away tomorrow I doubt if anyone on here would have a clue, except that my sometimes waffling posts and replies would at least leave a bit more space on the page for someone else to comment on. Basically if I don't comment or leave a new thread for 6 months then presume I'm a gonner. I didn't know Billy but I wish I had now that I have read these comments. R.I.P. Mr Bunter you obviously had may people enjoy your posts.

In the case of our Billy, it was confirmed on Facebook by his relatives. Some VEF members keep in touch there, too. A message or confirmation about a member's passing can only come from people close to him.
