I heard it said the iceberg was the best actor in "Titanic".

"Gone With The Wind" - that's another one I haven't seen - wot's it like??

"Citizen Kane" - I've seen the last 30 seconds - some bollocks about "Rosebud"

"Casablanca" - I've only seen the bit where some Gallic strumpet shrieks and bellows her way through La Marseillaise. Didn't watch anymore as I hate musicals

I'd like to say I haven't seen it - but my wife was very fond of that film and had it on VHS - she'd watch it every few months and once even persuaded me to play "Edelweiss" on the guitar so that she could sing it.

In retrospect I reckon she might have been taking the piss out of me.

Cross Of Iron is one of my favorite (anti)warfilms of all time! I remember almost crying at the end of the film (and i never cry).

As for me, i have never seen "Requiem For A Dream".

I own a copy on DVD though, but i never get to actually seeing it. Not that i don't want to, but i guess i'm worried for the mindf*ck that is awaiting me...

I've just realised that, other a few clips, I've never seen any of Marilyn Monroe's films. Have I missed much?

It's quite enjoyable if you edit it down to 41 seconds, what with the kronos quartet and all

You haven't missed anything in Last Tango in Paris-about the biggest viewing disappointment I've had in a movie after all the hype and controversy surrounding its original release.....utterly boring 'art' film with a couple of sex scenes.....hang on-you DID miss Maria Schneider-who IIRC was only 19 when she starred in it-but of course you can find her right here on VEF...

I had to see it. My older sister played the Mother Superior in her high school's production.

Now that I think about it, I've never seen any of the classic monster movies from the 30's through the 50's. Except the original King Kong. That's one of my all-time favorite movies.
