Thumbs up

I used to have a boarder Collie ,unfortunately she is no longer with us,but one thing she did one evening astounded us. She loved her walks at the beach or on the local hills and there were certain words you dare not mention when she was around ,Car,Beach and,Walk being three of them.
One evening some friends came around to watch a movie, and during the movie my friends partner said
"Well we all went in the car to the beach for a walk today "

Well,my old dog started her performance thinking she was going for a walk but nobody was taking any notice until things went quiet and I thought thats that she has settled down.
When the movie ended I went looking for the TV remote but could not find it anywhere,it had completely vanished,so we listened to music instead, thinking the remote had probably fallen down the sofa or something.
Next day I failed to find it anywhere until in the afternoon I happened to notice something shining in the sunlight up the garden under a bush, went to have a look and there was the remote, complete with one chewed corner....Never underestimate a Border Collie

One of my neighbours has a pack of yorkshire terriers. Noisy buggers and they can bite. But they trust me now and are friendly. But the post man is very pissed off. He leaves their mail next door.

I'm absolutely convinced my dog has got an odd sense of humour - especially when he's annoying the hell out of me. I'm certain that when I'm out of earshot he starts laughing like Muttley....

I had a German Shepherd who lived to be 17.I got him when I was around 18-19, so we basically grew up together.I could look into that dogs eyes, and know exactly what was on his mind, and vice-verse.

We had this game where I'd steal his food and he'd go bizonkers trying to get it back from me.There were hundreds of times when I'd be laying on the couch watching TV, and he'd run up and spit a mouth full of dog food on my lap. Then he'd get all goofy looking, like he wanted me to fight him for it.
Yeah, I know he had a sense of humor- far beyond just wanting to play.If he was like that, I'm sure most dogs are the same.

I remember my dog appearing quite happy when the cat mistimed a jump from 1 surface to another in the kitchen and laned in the bin. The cat was unharmed and the dog used to watch that same jump off point every time the cat was around just incase of a repeat.

I remember being on a beach in the winter (don't ask) when this large german Shepard started running at me. I dived into the water and swam like mad. So did the dog and was very friendly. Though like lots of dogs it looked like a killer.

Yeah, very nice. Though most people think you are mad.

I think I would have opted for a dog bite. Plus you could've tried to kick the dog in the nuts. Dogs hate that.
