1fichier - Page 55

I haven't been able to download anything from 1fichier (using Firefox browser) since early Monday morning.Click on the Orange DL nothing happens. Try right clicking "Save link as" just get an Htl doc.

OK I finally got it to DL. On the 1st page I checked the two boxes (One was inline DL other was DL without encryption or something) above the Orange DL bar. Then I clicked Orange DL bar.2nd page then worked.

My download manager (I just started using 2 months ago) xtreme download manager won't let me download anything from 1fichier. I have to turn it off for 1fichier to download.

I was still able to access my (free account) files with Firefox, though I was unable to
download anyone else's, see previos posts above, unless I used Opera, which is fine.

The other day I was asked to change my password, which I did, and it was working,
but now it says "Invalid username or password".....using Firefox

Switching to Opera again, I can log in, and all my files are all still there.
Pain in the Butt this is becoming!

In addition to the previously described issues, if you try to download any file without logging in as a free user, with an ad-blocker on (uBlock in my case), here's what happens:

1. It complains about the use of ad-blockers, asking you to turn it off.
2. If you turn it off, you not only receive extraordinarily offensive photoshopped images, you still get the complaint about ad-blockers, even worse, without the ability to download the file, still.
3. If you click on the link to create a free account, you just receive the same page with the f'ing ads & the complaint about your ad-blocker, again, without any option to create a free account.

As such, the use of this site is completely intolerable, and thus, frankly, making the use of this forum, by extension, intolerable. I would urge the forum to strongly consider, especially given the obvious impending crash of this site, to remove this site from not only the preferred list, but also the allowed download site list.

For anyone that disagrees with this sentiment, I would be more than happy to DM you or post some of the ads from this site, if you require such information to aid in your decision making.

Thank you for any such consideration.

Yes it is becoming a pain, but the reasons we continue to persvere with it, as free users,
are: very fast downloads, unlimited file sizes, FTP access, free account etc.
Maybe it will just become unuseable eventually, which will be sad for everyone.

Plus: premium users (like myself) can enable earned download credits, so free users can download at full speed (and maybe even without any pause in between too, I dont know).

The internet is full of ads, that's why we have free stuff. I think they're annoying as fuck too, so I got premium 1fichier when it was on offer. For free users , Opera browser is still an option, in case you hadn't read the previous comments.

But, what alternative you would suggest for 1fichier, since there's been a LOT of files uploaded to this service over the last 2 or 3 years.
Removing it from allowed host list would mean all those files will become unavailable because they would need to be moved to hosts like upstore that will take you a week for a single download.

Just noticed 1fichier now offers 2 years of premium for the price of one (€30):

"Sales on 1fichier.com until 7 Aug 2018, Buy 1 year, get 1 for free !"

Am considering to extend my premium, sure hope the platform doesnt go down or is taken of preferred/permitted hosts here on VEF. I hardly use it for anything else except an occasional super large file transfer.

Well, these files are already unavailable for the vast majority of forum users, so the problem, as I previously indicated, is already here. It's a dying host, soon to be yet another casualty like so many others.
