![]() Hi,
I would be pleased to get some lighting from the experts of european porn here around in order to clarify, if not to solve the "four Michel" mystery. For long, I thought (and so does imdb claims) that Michel Jean, Michel Caputo, Michel Baudricourt and Michel Anthony were one and same person. Nevertheless, I have now serious doubts since I have found a source claiming that Michel Jean is indeed an alias for Michael Goritschnig... who imdb ALSO credits with "Michel Jean" as an alias. So Michel Jean would be an alias for two persons? I have serious doubts. Anyway, assuming that Baudricourt, Anthony and Caputo are the same person seems quite safe. Indeed he does appear as an actor in most of the films he's credited under these names, which is a hint if not a proof. There are also similarities in style and themes between films signed under these three aliases. But as far as the Michel Jean alias is concerned, this is not so clear. Michael Goritschnig is supposed to be Austrian, while Caputo is definitively French (no accent whatsoever). More interestingly, the few films credited to Michel Jean have a mixed German-French cast. These movies are the two Wild Playgirls, the French Satisfaction / Diamond Baby mini-series, and heisse Hösschen. Three are all thrillers, the Wild Playgirls being comedies that sound more German than French (but this is only my feeling obviously). And last but not least, Caputo appears in none of these films as an actor. So what shall we conclude? Still assuming that Baudricourt, Anthony and Caputo are the same person, either 1) Michel Jean was his alias for international, high budget productions, or 2) Michel Jean is indeed Michael Goritschnig (or someone else). I would go for 2). Any thought? |

![]() Thanks, 2211, for helping to address this quandary which has had me wondering the same thing for a while.
I agree that the style of the Michel Jean films is remarkably different than the films credited to the other three Michels. This is not proof, of course, because artists (whether in film, painting, music, or whatever) can change their style over the course of their career. But I have always suspected that the director "Michel Jean" was not the same as Baudricourt, Anthony or Caputo. I have included Caputo's name in my movie posts of the Michel Jean films only because IMDb tends to be pretty reliable (at least compared to other movie databases.) I wonder if any French speakers at VEF ever saw an interview with "Michel Jean" in any magazines or other media?

As far as Caputo/Baudricourt is concerned, I have not found any interview nor biography anywere on the web. The closest thing to an interview I've seen is the tribute film he made for Marilyn Jess, that can be found here, but obviously they discuss of Patinette and not of Caputo… |

I made some caps of Michel Caputo in films in which he was acting, and I thought these might be helpful in this context: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Regarding Goritschnig, I found these pics on the WWW: ![]() ![]() ...and also this newspaper article from 2003 (in which he was described as 57 years old). The article also mentions that his company is based in Hamburg (as is RIBU). Last edited by beutelwolf; 09-13-2016 at 08:40 AM.. |
