Google image search getting more and more useless? - Page 5

Is Yandex working for people right now? I can't see a way to do an image search anymore.

i've not used it for eons so havent any idea of what it looked like
but i'll guess they've moved the camera (reverse image search)

Thats what i see in chrome

The main page has a keyboard where the camera is on google

Yandex still works quite good for reverse image search but in recent months I notice its facial recognition component seems to be different. It doesn't seem to be as "aggressive" - for lack of a better word - in finding models with similar facial features as it once was. Maybe it is just me but I suspect they have tweaked their algorithms to concentrate more on overall image content than facial recognition aspects.

I, too, have been wondering about this.

On several occasions I have cropped full scene and/or busy-background pictures so that I am feeding Yandex a good quality head-and-shoulders view of the model.

It has helped me find other images of the same subject on a few occasions. Maybe the facial recognition algorithm still works if you filter out the competing "noise".

It looks like the find image source functionality seems to find adult materials now. It doesn't find similar content like Yandex however the links themselves might lead to additional content.
