Coloured Stockings/Tights

Hi all, New to the forum, found while having a mooch!
Anyway growing up in the mid 80s, coloured nylon stockings/tights were the rage, and has always kept my interest.
Not the normal black white, tan, but reds, greens, blues, yellows etc and tend to spend most of my internet time searching for these.
I have found some great pics in the middle of some threads, but wondered if there was a dedicated thread somewhere.
coloured nylon on 80s models, fantastic! Anyone else think so?

On a personal level which do I prefer? Well red is good

cerise pink is ok

dark blue is sexy

but black or white cant be beat!

Blue is alright, but more of a red myself,

bright pink is too bright,

purple, on the other hand is just right!

Do not like khaki yellow though.

Having said that Id take Vida Garman in whatever she wanted.

Apparently women's choice of hosiery go with economic cycles, if the ecomony is doing well women wear fancier hosiery, and if its doing badly then they opt more for opaque tights.

This might be a bit too much of a niche, but here goes.
This is dedicated to my formative years when the fashion in hosiery in the late 70`s & 80`s, was for wearing bright colours.
I`m thinking stockings only, but lets see?
1st part of my contribution, mainly robbed from my E#cort/R~zzle editions.

nb as you probably realise, this is now added to an original thread already running (just in case you were wondering what I was on about , above!!)

Given much of the 50s and 60s pictures are in b&w it would be hard to tell for sure. But there was definitely a fashion for them in the 80s. The stockings had to contrast with the stilletos as I remember, white stockings with red shoes, green stockings with yellow, cerise with black. Whoaaaa I loved eighties fashion in underwear!
