Arrow Whitney Houston - RIP

She was her own worst enemy. I have no sympathy for someone who self-destructs like she did. All her alleged "friends" will now be searching out the camera lenses for air time talking about what a great talent she was and how much they'll miss her. Show biz people are some of the biggest phonies in the world.

She had family and friends (and fans) who loved her, and she died way too young.Addiction is a disease, and sometimes it wins, but that doesn't mean that her death is less of a tragedy. Of course, it is a tragedy when ANYONE dies before their time, especially after struggling with substance abuse, even if they are not famous.

Not my favourite style of music, but I appreciate that she was a great singer. She enriched the lives of many, and would be best remembered when at her best. The way she died is irrelevant - as with Amy Winehouse it's a tragedy to die so young.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I would never have rushed out to buy one of her albums but she did have some great chops. 48 is way to early to die.

This is the discussion area. Not the best way to begin a discussion about Whitney Houston, but everyone is doing it right in regards to pics or not. Perhaps the title of the thread could be changed to something less, oh, fateful, for lack of a better word?
