Hi, all!

I thought I'd add a thread for this model, whom you'll all probably recognize, but up till now, we've only had the odd photo here or there, and a set that 70chip included in his "Not Enough to Start a Thread" thread.

Sahara Azure, aka Shara, aka Susie, aka Faith, may have started her career as a dancer, before modeling. The earliest photoset that I've been able to find is from Deja Vu Showgirls, February 1992. The mag claimed that she was a waitress at the Seattle club, which may or may not have been true.

A couple of things are certain. She never got breast implants, at least, not as far as I can tell from any of the pictorials I've seen. And she can be recognized by a distinctive tatoo on her right shoulder blade. It's a crescent moon with a bird of paradise or a parrot perched on it. You have to look closely in some pictures, because her hair covers it. I once emailed Suze Randall's site to ask about it, and got a response from Suze herself that at the time Sahara started modeling, tatoos hadn't yet become as prevalent as they would in just a couple years. Also, Suze confirmed for me that Sahara never did any video work.

So, here follow the pictorials that I've been able to find, starting with the one that was one of my grails, the February 1992 Deja Vu pictorial. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do....

The next appearance, in chronological sequence, was an excellent set shot by Suze Randall, that appeared in Sw@nk, July 1992. Here, named as Shara, she appears stunning in black lingerie and drapes herself over a desk:

The next photoset appeared in Hvstler, November 1992, but it may have been shot earlier than that. It's a lesbian bathtub set, "Mia and Marie". Don't know which one Shara was supposed to be, does it matter?

The next pictorial in order of publishing is from Sw@nk, October 1993. She appeared on the cover and as the centerfold, this time as Susie...

I know she's just naked, and it's not hardcore, but again, there's something about her looks, she doesn't have the enhanced, robobabe look of a Jenna Jameson or a Pamela Anderson, but I think that's part of it, she's a good-looking but regular girl, she could be the hot intern in your office. Whatever! She's incredibly sexy!

Again, progressing chronologically, Shara appeared in a pictorial in H1gh S0ciety, December 1993, in a group centerfold called "Nymphfest '94". The premise was a bunch of HS centerfold getting together in Cancun or something stupid like that (who cares about the plots?). But it made me wonder if she had appeared in a previous issue of HS, as a centerfold or otherwise. But I think I've seen every issue for the two years prior to this, and never found any pictorials with her in them.

That last image is from the page after the gatefold in the magazine; HS had a habit of placing an add for back issues immediately after the centerfold, and using a picture that was from the photo set but didn't appear in the main pictorial.

You may have noticed Shara's companions in this pictorial. On the cover, clockwise from left, is British model Jessica, Kelly Jaye, Danielle Rogers, Cathy Tress aka Tattoo, Jenna Jameson and Bonita Saint.

The next pictorial to appear in print was Suze Randall's lesbian shoot with porn star Mickey Lynn. This was published in Sw@nk, February 1994...

She's so sensuous and sexy, in a way, it's a shame she never did any movies. But on the other hand, it's kinda nice, that she didn't, it's left to our horny imaginations to fill in the blanks.

Her next published pictorial was another group centerfold, this time, in Cheri, March 1994. This time, the theme was Cheri's "Suckathon", featuring the centerfolds fellating dildoes, and then engaging in some lesbian antics for the camera...

It was another pro-am cast, this time featuring Felecia, Shayla LaVeaux, Celeste, Alexis DeVell, and Cathy Tress/Tattoo as Barbie, and Shara as Sahara. The great thing about this pictorial is that this is about the only time we see either Shara or Cathy Tress with a dick in their mouths, even if it's latex. Great googly-moogly!
