I've not seen Season 2 yet, but hope to find time soon. Yes Season 3 was provisionally agreed in May, but that was before the ratings came in and (from what I've read) there was such a big drop that there's been some re-thinking about the show. My criticism of what I've seen was the repetition and I think a shorter mini-series would have been far better. This show appears to be yet another product of accountants, who look at the cost of the cast, lavish sets and special effects. Then they stretch things and the production becomes boring as the studio is only ever interested in making money. That said, I'm still looking forward to watching Season 2 and while I think about it, Condor, the next Call Saul and Man in the High Castle.

On to season two of Flowers. A British comedy/Greek tragedy about an extremely sad, dysfunctional family and their sad, dysfunctional neighbours. Some really mind blowing scenes.

Getting back to Westworld: well, after watching it, I'd say 3 or 4 episodes could have been left out, because they had nothing to do with the main stories of any character. Yeah, the story is a little convoluted, but Westworld is that kind of show. The kind of story you've got to watch it again to get it right. Now, getting back on topic, I just finished watching season 2 of Strike Back. Great show for male audiences.

Watching seasons 2 and 3 of the Following.
I am so glad I live in Australia right now. Apparently if you are standing in line there is a 50-50 chance that person in front of you or behind is a phsycho serial killer. Who will happily kill your entire family, the dog, the pet fish and the family budgy. Is the government putting something in the water to make you people more susceptible to control? On the show they say that there are over 5000 cults in the US. Forfucksake what is wrong with you people? Why would anyone give up there free will to be in a cult? Corban is love, Corban is fucking awseome. It was bad enough being in the Navy taking orders from dumbass officers but having to listen to a religous nutjob who woke up one day and decided to create his own religion, please people look in a mirror and take a long hard look at yourself. Also I just watched the episode where Joe gets executed. I have read before that the injection is really painful and that scene would seem to bear that out. Does the government over there like to torture murders before they kill them? Seems a little like they are sinking to the level of the crims. Why not use heroin? Slip into a peaceful sleep and never wake up. Sounds a bit more merciful to me. |

Better Call Saul--Season 4 Premiere: Smoke
All I'll say is the transformation is becoming complete. No spoilers. Just watch it. As for Mikey...it's all starting to come together. Loved the scene where Jimmy is circling newspaper ads, and you see a help wanted ad for the company WW's wife Skyler worked for.
