Subscribed thread showing as updated but post not showing?

Hi guys and gals.

Got a notification about a thread being updated at 12:49pm but the thread does not show the post.

I've found the post via looking at the poster's list of posts. ...

The thread is

Clicking the thread link from the above post link takes you to the thread but does not show the post.
It's like the post has orphaned itself from the thread?

This is probably due to the post being deleted before you viewed it.

Can you check if you can see the last post now?

It should be a test post of mine

How odd. Surely if the post had been deleted I would not have been able to access it?

The deleted post was the first post on a new page in the thread, thats why you couldnt access it.

Its a software glitch. Glad to see this post is now sorted

Ah so user0071 meant to delete it anyway. Why is it still showing now? Because a previous post was deleted stopping this one from showing?

At times, new posts may not show in a thread due to database sync errors. The hidden post will usually show in the thread when someone makes another post.

It hasn't happened very often lately but if it becomes a constant issue, we will contact sysadmin.
