Default Cider and Applejack.

I am a cider drinker myself (que the Worsels) but though we Brits do have some quite decent ciders, not all British cider is good. Scrumpy Jack tastes like someone already drank it, and Merrydown tastes like battery acid. Copperhead cider is even worse.

When I was in Normandy and Brittany in 2002, I discovered that, presumably because there are few or no vineyards there, the locals prefer cider to wine and there are some delicious ciders made in that region of France. They also make Calvados, which is very nice and very dangerous.

Now that annoys me too, it must be a global conspiracy, crap cider invades the planet, no question about that. What annoys me more is that cider costs more than beer, so it financially might prevent me drinking too much, being a healthy drink this way. So I hate health drinks and people who rip off nice guys like me by manufacturing overpriced, piss-coloured liquid excrement they dare to call cider.

Crap and useless tools made in China. It`s waste of metal and money and ecologically criminal. What`s the point manufacturing tools in China? Greed, and same goes for clothes, electronics, etc. We feel few seconds like a winner when buying cheap stuff, at home we realise It`s just a piece of crap. My friend bought an chinese axe few years ago, it was maybe 60% cheaper than Finnish, but he never managed to split any wood with it because it was so soft "metal" that sharpening was impossible. My best tools are over 50 years old, buy a cheap one and It`s on junkyard within next few months.
So It`s "a bit" two-faced to be worried about climate-change here in Europe, as long we quietly accept ecological disaster simply by buying all kind of cheap crap, made in suspicious circumstances with minimal cost.

"Tried to save the trees
Bought a platsic bag
The bottom fell out
It was a piece of crap

Saw it on the tube
Bought it on the phone
Now you're home alone
It's a piece of crap

I tried to plug in it
I tried to turn it on
When I got it home
It was a piece of crap

Got it from a friend
On him you can depend
I found out in the end
It was a piece of crap

I'm trying to save the trees
I saw it on TV
They cut the forest down
To build a piece of crap

I went back to the store
They gave me four more
The guy told me at the door
It's a piece of crap"

Last week I bought some very expensive wallpaper, knowing I hate decorating my GF got up early last saturday stripped the chimney in the sitting room and wallpapered it
She has just come upstairs in floods of tears, the kitten I bought her for Christmas has shreaded all down one side!
