Holy macaroni! The attic took a real pounding last night as London and the rest of England took a battering from Storm David(now they name it, not thinking it worthy enough before ) but we were lucky not to be hit with any falling trees or other structural damage. I did notice several wheely bins had been blown over last night and it was so bad I had to get up and make a cup of tea and try to grab a quick snooze before venturing back upstairs around 6.20am. My father is in bed with a bad cough and my poor more hardly got any sleep either. Reminded me of the Great Storm of 1987. Elsewhere got tremendous snowfall, mostly further north and Scotland, Northern Ireland etc. Lessened today but rained earlier. Absolutely knackered so I hope I can get some sleep tonight, but managed a couple of naps this afternoon.

That’s right Greenman. Not so lucky were the residents of this house in Stoke Heath, Coventry. Reported as ‘roof blown off’ by the hopeless and piss-poor local newspaper it is clearly the whole gable end that has collapsed.

Here the storm is called "Frederike". Dozens of fallen trees, and I think about 3 dead persons of that storm.

At the Brocken/Harz (region in Germany) there were peaks measured of 233 km/h. Average in the country between up to 120 to 150 km/h. Lorries were blown up on the highways.

Airports closed, and at the railways are "Grande Cassino" up to now.

The French are making a big thing about their generous offer to lend us the Bayeux Tapestry.

Lovely, but no mention that it was actually made here in England!

(Perhaps we should "lend" Greece the Parthenon Marbles.)

French also keep your immigrants in Calais.

By the way, I've seen a tapestry made during François the First (about 1500) in a Museum in Paris... The room had a huge ventilation.

But whowww... the smell of the tapestry. Disguting.
You never would have this tapestry in your house. For sure your cats would leave you and sleep outside.

First safe point of entry. Is France not safe?

Technically, it isn't a tapestry but an embroidery...so my seamstress cousin tells me.

Feeling lousy today, had to postpone a visit from my father's cousins' daughter over from America as I sound more like a Mysteron than human, somehow picked up a bad throat and both parents not feeling well but not the flu or norovirus. Hardly a wink of sleep either so absolutely knackered!

Default German Issues

Some of the top officials of the tax investigation of NRW (North Rhine Westphalia), who were responsible and leading the acquisition of a number of foreign tax CD's , quit their jobs at the department and changed the sides.
They are now going to work for well known lawyer consortium.

What do you think about this issue ???

Internal hint you cannot know as a foreigner:
The government of NRW has changed last year to a conservative-liberal (CDU + FDP) in summer last year.

Still feeling lousy, been through one box of tissues already(no, not like that!) but whatever this is I want my voice back and I would kill for some sleep.

You post that on a Porn Forum and think people believe you used them on your nose?
