Seeing him in action with the high maintenance (but very funny) Alan Carr made him seem like a laid-back act. Perhaps "act" is the operative word

Women can be incredibly vindictive, and the courts tend to take their sides, not speaking from personal experience, but some of my family have been shafted well and truly, the truth will come out in the end, but probably too late.

Always remember one thing about women. They're much smarter than you. Also, much, much nastier. Chaps? We're quite often the nice guys (ignore the propaganda) Protect your back, protect yourselves. Always do your best for a lady. But only if she acts like one. (her choice, not yours) If she wants to act like a slag/tramp? That ain't no lady, that's something to get away from asap. Miz (bitter f***ing experience talking)

Eeeh the nights are drawing in again Mavis.
Took the tablerette into work at 7-00am this morning, the ice warning came up on the screen in the car and had the heater on full.
I wish someone would stick me in a box full of straw in the cupboard under the stairs to hibernate for the next few months...I bloody hate winter.

I like Winter, I like the snow, Christmas and I like the change in the weather because it a) gives you a good excuse to get the scarf, hat and gloves on, b) keep your heater/radiator on and not have to keep turning it on and off when there is a slight drop during Spring/Summer and c) this attic gets bloody stifling up here at times so I hate Summer and cold winds blow under the eaves and through my cupboards in Autumn, so I prefer Spring & Winter, because at least I can stay toasty in the Winter and cooler in the Spring.
We moan about this but it happens every year, in March and October(back and forth) and every year subsequent Governments don't do a thing because the farmers get upset and so people are more likely to get killed on roads in the early darker evenings. One solution could be to finally get in line with Europe maybe have a Double Summer Time- but you wait, that will be on the News soon enough and as usual nothing will be done. Lousy weather for conkers this year too!

Unbelieveable. Love this stuff. Regards Jimmy Savile. I had a brief read of the headlines of the Sunday rags. Now they are saying he went into the morgue of a hospital and committed necrophilia. Bloody hell! What next?

Remember, if the candle is to long you can always cut it in half with a knife.
Use one with a serrated edge and cut with a vigourous sawing motion
