I have started to dig into storage to determine what old vhs tapes I have that are worthy of VEF. I came across a tape in a generic box that had a generic label of "California Girl Contest 17" that I got many years ago from a store called Perfect 10. In hindsight I should have gone into debt to get 1 through 16 also. Why did I try to be responsible?

The title in the tape is called California Girl Flashdance Contest. It appears to be a preliminary round to a bikini contest. No finalists or winners are declared, just 22 contestants in what is called aerobic wear. This is a similar lineup to Bikini Contest 15 (previously posted).

Girls in this contest, as announced in the tape: Michelle, Brandy, Sharis, Karen, Tess, Leigh, Christy T, Sherry, Bianca, Tammy, Marisa, Venus, Tara, Christy M, Jeannie, Dana, Tiffany Ann, Chelsea, Nancy, Julie, Bridgette, and Pam.

P.S. you may get sick of the song California Girls if you watch the whole contest (which I believe is the David Lee Roth version, not the Beach Boys), but, this is not about the music.

It has been mentioned that some are having problems getting large files using the mega links. In light of this info, and to keep with board policy, I will add links to download files using FileFactory.

I am capturing my tapes before they become useless so I though I would share my capture of this tape if anyone is interested, and would like the full tape as one file.

This is the last tape I have of the California Girl or Foxhunt series, but, I will continue to search for more.

Thanks for all your efforts funhawg, but could I possibly ask you to keep including the Mega links, as personally I have no problem with them, and for such large posts the speed is a godsend. With FileFactory it can take up to 4 hours for a big download, and I'm afraid my PC gives up!

Done. Options are good. These tapes are no longer made, getting harder to find, and disintegrating. This is one way to preserve them.

Anyways, it looks like the standard bikini contests they must have ran in the beaches around this area during the summers. The woman in the yellow bikini with the huge natural chest is the top contestant. The highlight of this video is just capturing this era of bikini contests. And, more importantly, the women and the styles. I know this has been discussed before on this forum, but the women during this time and the bikinis they wore were knee-dropping. They looked like women.
