Various media outlets reporting since mid morning Carroll out for three months, Lanzini a minimum of four weeks and Arnie at least three weeks. Hoping to confirm the truth have been to the club website several times and as at 17.40 still no confirmation or denial from the club.

The three wise ones wonder why our support hates them.

The only benefit I got from that game is that since it was played on Monday, it was on while I was at work and I didn't get to see it. Or I guess the proper term is that I didn't have to see it and I didn't watch the replay when I got home after work.

Leeds Managing Director Angus Kinnear claims to have consulted 10,000 Leeds United supporters over the last six months to come up with a (completely unecessary) new club badge, unveiled today, for next year's centenary.
The new badge (right) looks like the agency with the Gaviscon contract and Dacia badge in their portfolio gave it to someone who plays games online and mumbled something about the 'Leeds Salute' overlooking that, on a badge, it looks like a falconer who has lost his hawk.

Couple this with the fatuous 'brand message' about the fans being at the centre of the club, whilst completely neglecting to consult with the one group of fans who have been there since day one, the official supporters club, and cue: shitstorm of whirlwind proportions.

Following the unveiling of the new badge, once the supporters club checked that this wasn't April 1st, there was the question asked of the club "who was consulted, how, when and where?" That remains a mystery. What isn't a mystery is that having declared that the new badge is there for keeps and there will be no going back, the fact that in three hours, the supporters club had a 47,000+ petition suggesting that the MD might want to rethink his consultation strategy.

When last heard of on R5Live around 7pm this evening, a somewhat revisionist Angus Kinnear disclosed that he'd had better days at the office, and he might well revise his consultation with the fans. Bright boy. Especially as said supporters are, as he rightly had onserved, "the centre of the club community" and might just decide not to buy any of your centenary merchandise next season?

Knocked out of the FA Cup by a rugby team. We played four full backs who all looked confused with one being sent off, perhaps if Lady Muck had donned the claret and blue we might have had a chance with a hooker.

Wigan join an illustrious group of lower league teams who have removed us from the FA Cup.
