You guys know those Kinder Surprise eggs, made from (what may be) chocolate and with a toy inside?

The man who 'invented' those was William Salice and he has died today (age 83)

From all the deaths this year, strangely enough a man who i didn't even know the name from, had the biggest influence on my childhood.

I think he influenced many children's childhood and I hope he gets a brown coffin with white linning and wrapped in red/white foil.

Lots of terrible losses.

When it comes to recent celebrity deaths I feel the most sorry for Billie Lourd who lost her mother and grandmother within 24 hours. I don´t know how I would handle such heavy blows of fate (most likely I wouldn´t be able to handle it at all). Also the fact that Debbie Reynolds must have went through hell in the last days of her life saddens me immensly.

I know that I probably shouldn´t be as shocked & upset about the deaths of celebrities... people I didn´t know at all. Especially if you consider how many people suffer much more gruesome fates because of war & terror ...
but ... I am upset.

Haven´t shed a tear for a celeb since Ramis died till today.
Just let this godforsaken year come to an end already and bring on fucking 2017

I agree entirely,It would have been kinder by far had Carrie Fisher died outright on that plane,The shock may still have killed Her Mother but She would been spared that week of Hell. You have have to sympathize with Todd Fisher,Left to mourn His Mother and Sister.

Default Robert Hulseman

The man behind the ubiquitous party vessel, the red Solo cup, Robert Hulseman, has died. He was 84.

The cup hit the scene in the 1970s and has been a fixture at parties, barbecues, and just about any outdoor gathering ever since. It’s become such a predominant part of any American party that companies in the United Kingdom such as AmericanPartyCups.com sell them using taglines like, “As we now all know the Red Cup means it’s party time – American style!”

Country singer Toby Keith loves the cup so much he actually made a song about it, aptly named “Red Solo Cup.” It begins with the lines, “Now a red Solo cup is the best receptacle/For barbecues tailgates fairs and festivals/And you sir do not have a pair of testicles/If you prefer drinking from glass.”
