Yesterday was lamb gravy mince dinner where eventually and in stages I threw onions , garlic, veg stock cube , celery , carrots , green beans and sweet potatoes (Not in that order) into a saucepan of a couple pints of water. Used Bisto to thicken. Was tasty due to everything I`d added.
Geez only the lamb mince ?.
A major let down.



... Ahem ... Tonight it`ll be ... Cough ... Veggi Rice

Look before you all start putting contracts out on my life

Have decided from now on only to buy meat from a proper butchers rather than a supermarket.
Ok so maybe it`ll be a bit more expensive. But at least the meat won't be artificially weighted with chemically infused water and might actually taste of meat

I only have 2 meat pies instead of the usual 3



Plus the bowl of chips drowned in salt and vinegar

Not really a fan of supermarket pies, always seen this brand. Herbert Adams, they looked expensive as far as pies go and the packing looked like they were packed full of meat rather than some meat and lot's of gravy

It's the other way around, there's more meat and mushroom than anything,
Plus the taste is great

So as ever it`s the thought that counts and no forgiveness needed merely sorrow you weren't able to eat as much as you wished

Well I blinked and ended up hurling some previously cooked frozen kidneys and a few steaky chunks into the hot chili sauce I made yesterday.



Yes I hurled them into the sauce , frozen

Then re-visited it forty minutes later.

Maybe not the best move but am alive today (Touch wood ) so either I`m lucky (Which considering my dating life can't be true) or have an iron constitution

I know I know .... It`s sorely lacking many things Brothers

Such as six fried Cumberland sausages , eight rashers of crispy bacon , four thick slices of fried black pudding, three fried pork chops , three fried lamb chops , a tin of re-fried baked beans , fried saute potatoes and sprig of parsley

Tomorrow I`ll do better
