Not a "video"- but a graphic to go with a song completely composed of operating system sounds, from Windows 98, and XP. Very clever idea though

The Doors - Break on Through to the Other Side. The original Elektra Records promo clip.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbiPDSxFgd8 The Doors - Light My Fire - Live performance on the Ed Sullivan Show. Captures a song and an era. Plus love the set design! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LtPVBqQsf8 Last edited by SwedishEroticaFan; October 30th, 2009 at 03:56 AM.. Reason: why not? |

The Best Video You Will See This Week
from lemondrop.com ........ We're just gonna come out with it: This clip is amazing. Some editing genius named Ricardo Autobahn had the incredible idea to make a song out of ... movie clips. Now before you start imagining some medley you'd watch at the Oscars, let's talk about the fact that this guy's managed to string together the clips in a way that rhymes AND has a beat.
We've been playing our own personal game of Guess the Movie and nodding our head to the rhythm for about 20 minutes now. Join us in watching and try to imagine just how much time this guy had to invest in movie-watching to put this together. The mind boggles. Enjoy! The Wrestler
Another great video from The Boss
The Wrestler, from the film starring Mickey Rourke with the same title, both were up for an Academy Award for their performances, I think

You Belong With Me (Taylor Swift: 2009).
Very rare for me to even know a recording artist exists if he/she has not already retired or been active for at least 10 years. I accidentally found out that someone called Taylor Swift exists when I saw a stray news feature on MSN News covering a really gross and astonishing affront she received from Kanye West at the 2009 MTV Awards (hey, I was barely conscious that something called the MTV Awards happens from time to time). Last Monday I had my hair cut, which I do whenever it no longer fits easily inside my motorcycle helmet, and because there was a bit of a wait before I could get into the barber's chair, I was forced to notice my surroundings. There was MTV on a TV monitor perched high up in a corner, I can get MTV at home but its a channel I generally avoid like I avoid anthrax biscuits. However, a surprisingly pleasant song allied to a surprisingly charming and sweet (if extremely cliched) video came up. After about a minute I realised this was the video Kanye West couldnt stomach for having won MTV's best female video 2009 award: this alone is enough to make me think the video is cool. But actually, you know what? This video is OK. Besides I am always a sucker for a pretty girl with a nice voice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuNIsY6JdUw NB: ''She's cheer captain and I'm on the bleachers...'' Apparently the bleachers are the tiers of raised seats high up in the stadium: Taylor is a face in the crowd and her rival has privileged access to the hero of the football team.

http://youtubedownload.altervista.org/ I went through 50 odd pages of related programmes on the "Useful Programmes" thread here, after vixynet stopped "allowing" sound to their downloads. It's allows better quality downloads than vixy, but unfortunately still needs converting with a programme such as SUPER http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html before you (I?) can burn it to disc. |
