Dunno why you think that. It never worked when my dad tried it on me and it never worked when I tried it on my kids. They just yell louder. Still dad was right...eventually you get the satisfaction of seeing your kids trying to deal with it too.

Depends on how you do it The real important stuff was dealt with fairly, if something happened that was unfair and not important, Dad just didn't give a shit, generally worked with us anyway and accepted that bad luck is gonna happen and not all things will go your way.
