Question regarding 1995-2000 content

Incredible as it may be (and man I feel old typing this), it will soon be 20 years since 1995. That means almost two decades will have passed even for performers who started in 1996, 1997. Certainly I'm starting to see a growing number of performers from that era (Donita Dunes and Linsey Dawn McKenzie come to mind) being categorized in the vintage sections of some sites already.

Obviously the main focus of VEF is is 1995 or earlier, but I wonder if the time hasn't come to consider creating a second VEF category for, say, performers who started in 1995-2000. Certainly on the Internet 2000 was an eternity ago (in fact the community I live in didn't even get non-dial-up Internet until about 1999), and it is a challenge sometimes to find online material for folks who started their careers back then.

Just curious as to whether there has been any talk of creating a new category (or even, for that matter, moving the 1995 cut off date up to, say, 1997 or something), since I'm finding it harder to consider someone who began their career in 1996 as a "modern model" anymore (under VEF's definition).

"Vintage or Classic" has a cut off date of 1995 by most definitions of the genre. Purists will actually state that the cut off date should be at 1990.

Anything after that date is therefore considered to be "Modern" according to the above stated definition regardless of how much time has elapsed so for now there is no real reason to change the cut off dates we currently have.
