If I'm just looking at the woman, pics. If I'm wanking, most of the time video is better, but from time to time, certain faves of mine, like Jordan West or Julia Garvey, can get me off just with pix.

I opted for Vids.
Realize that I prefer hardcore. The physical act(s) involved in hardcore are better served by videos.
Realize this also: One can generate a picture image from a video (by pausing and capturing); but you cannot turn an image into a video. (Do not start me about animated GIFs.

That's my opinion exactly.
I have made several shorter videos from longer ones to cut out the stuff I don't like and made screenshots of my favorite moments.
I generally prefer photos as they capture those special moments that videos tend to glaze over.
Photos also take up less hard-drive space too.
Videos are great -- but I'm more of a photo guy.

I think if I had to make a choice I'd go for pics.

I do still remember the excitement of seeing my first hardcore porn video and for many years would probably be answering the question differently, but have recently gravitated back towards vintage and pictures.

I think it probably rekindles the excitement of youth and the pure joy of having a wank over some dirty porn when a teenager. You could hide mags in your room quite easily, but was very rare that you'd have the house to yourself and be able to use the VHS!

Videos can tell a story well, but pictures allow you to overlay your own thoughts and scenarios.

So whilst I enjoy both, if someone made me choose, I think pictures would trigger the best use of my imagination and allow me to fantasize more.
