When I heard this story yesterday, my jaw hit the floor. But the logical part of me thinks that "the hoodie" doesn't do anything with players other teams have passed on without a plan to use him.

One thing that has been speculated on is that he may sub for Gronkowski who is facing a long rehab after another surgery on his arm and back issues. Tebow is just about the same size as Gronk and if they can make it work have a good TE.

Of course all of this is dependent on how he handles minicamp going on now and full training camp in July.

Well, as much as I want to see the Patriots fail, New England may be the one place where Tebow can be a football player and not "the Savior." There's no way that Pats fans will be screaming for Tebow to take over if Tommy boy throws a pick. As Wes Welker recently pointed out, he had to toe the line in NE because the only real info (grudgingly) comes from the Hoodie. Tebow will be scrutinized with the Pats, but he's not going to be the center of all attention.

BTW, who do you favor for the Cup, Bruins or Blackhawks?
