Total budget for making the advert was probably about £1.75, and he became a bit of a local legend as a result. I hadn't heard this for at least 20 years until I found it on Youtube tonight, and still knew it practically word-for-word...

Does anyone remember the local cinema adverts with a photo and a voice over? Class and a budget of about £4, including six months showing fee!
