Doris Hill
Doris Hill was an American film actress of the 1920's and 1930's, mostly in B movies. She moved to Hollywood in the mid-1920's to pursue an acting career. She started first by working as a vaudeville dancer until she got her first film acting role in 1926 in 'Is That Nice?'. She starred in seventeen films from 1926 to 1929, and unlike many silent film stars, she made a successful transition to talking films.
On contract with Paramount Pictures, Western film roles became her most common parts, with her often starring opposite Tom Tyler but by 1934, her career 36 movie film career had finished. She retired and married twice, eventually moved to Kingman, Arizona. She died there on March 3, 1976. Trivia:
