Perhaps the poster wasn't rying to 'promote' people being hurt, but I don't really think it fits in with the 'funny and porn animated gifs' theme of this thread.

There are some other gifs in this thread (dunno who posted them, though) which also show people being injured etc. and I was making a general point that those types of gifs ain't funny.

The poster was me and I agree, it isn't funny to see someone run over by a truck. When I initially viewed it I didn't recognize that was what happened.

Every week, I spend a good number of hours looking through a variety of sources trying to find entertaining gifs to share at VEF. Same for the Some Pictures thread. Never do I have the intent of showing people or animals being seriously injured. Never.

Unlike many posters here, I look at every single image/gif I post before posting it. Every single one. With the sheer number of images I look at, after over 13,000 posts, I suppose one will slip through that I'd rather did not and offend someone.

I apologize.

Oh, and by the way, I notice you haven't thanked many, if any, posts in this thread. Perhaps if there isn't anything worth your time to spend a half second to press the Thanks button for, you should spend your time at VEF elsewhere. Just a thought.

Just as a matter of info .. Eric Cartman works in a hospital helping the injured and helping to save lives, so I know he was not purposely or deliberately attempting to find anything humorous in that person being injured in his post.

I cannot speak for Eric, but as for myself I find the humor of the putz driving the second vehicle not seeing the person laying on the ground, especially since another person runs right past him chasing and yelling for the first vehicle to stop.

In defense of the OP, perhaps vids of people getting hurt may not be funny to watch, but stupidity certainly is. Perhaps the value might be that it will make people think a little before they do some of the dumb stuff we see in these.
