Default Lesbian Journal

Managed to get a great deal last night ( free shipping from USA to UK )
for 4 of these ( the ones I didn't need are marked with a white cross )
as these are reprints - I already own ( have the warning yellow sticker )
These are the Lesbian Journal ,N. Hollywood, CA: American Art Enterprises, 1984-85.

These are superb Vintage adult paperbacks focusing on lesbian themes, from arguably the largest publisher/distributor of adult material, including magazines; this line one of the best all-lesbian productions of the 1980s, with colour photo covers.
It is a pretty Scarce series to collect or even find .

PRETTY GIRLS, JUST GIRLS - LJ104, 1984. Carol Quinn. Set in Idaho

WANDA, GAY CALL GIRL - LJ113, 1985. Erica Lom. B/w illus. throughout !

THE DYKE GOES WEST - LJ122, 1985. Glenda Phillips. Tennis, farms

CARLA'S LOVE, SAMANTHA - LJ127, 1985. Toby Benson.

I am delighted to buy these ( made the seller an offer )

Roberts also attacked the emerging Revolutionary Army... he was a Brit Colonial Master Race, after all.

Bit confused about Mal's vote though....
Rogers was American born, He may well have served the New Republic as well as His old comrade Israel Putnam but George Washington had Him arrested before He could offer His services..

I think your unfortunate habit is widespread. Who has time for just one?

I finally got my copy , today in the Post , and its a delightful copy in near mint condition - and has no illustrations from the hardcover version.
I have scanned it for you , today .

I look forward to reading the very Victorian dialogues and descriptions
as this anonymous writer sought to excite more through the frequency than through the heat or variety of his sex scenes .
My copy is also smaller than the ' Standard Size ' Venus Library
namely 11cm wide and 16,5cm high - so it can easily fit in a pocket
( which is what the Publisher probably intended )

"Empire of the Columbia" by Dorothy O. Johansen

A rather modest volume, published in 1967, covering the history of the area which includes British Columbia, Washington, and Oregon. An odd piece of land at various times occupied by the Salish People, the Spanish, Russians, French, Spanish again, French again, British, and Americans. I like to read old books occasionally to understand the way things looked to folks fifty years ago and what, if anything, we have learned since.
