Wrong TM they are extreme pests .. ..yes a woodchuck is what we called them here .. .. woodchucks make deep holes in the fields where a dairy cow or horse could easily break a leg if stepped in one .. .. i'm the real trailmaster in real life .. .. i learned how to ride a horse before a bicycle .. .. and no one i mean no one eat's a woodchuck ... .. lol

Last summer I had a problem with several groundhogs. They burrowed a den along my property line. I had to call a wildlife trapper to come and set traps to capture and get rid of them -- which thankfully I did.
The trapper was telling me that in some cases they could present a nuisance problem, as they reproduce and one could effectively get overrun with them in time. In other cases they could present a health problem/danger should they become infected/rabid. So, no I don't think I would want to eat a potentially infected groundhog no matter how hungry I was!

I was thinking about that, the chicken and the egg thing ..... people are dumb IMO, if they really want to know what came first, the chicken or the egg, why hasn't anyone gone right to the source and asked a chicken
