Attention: There is a prevalent email scam happening everywhere where the sender claims to have a password to a site and demands money in some form. Ignore it, do not respond and at most change passwords on any sites you frequent.

Effective immediately, moving or animated GIFs are not allowed in signatures. If your signature has one, please remove or replace it asap. Staff will remove them as and when we see them without notice.

Sincerest apologies to everyone for the recent blackout. VEF and several of our sister forums had a major server malfunction. The database index is being rebuilt from scratch and may take at least several days to be fully restored. Expect major weirdness and lots of glitches in the meantime. revolver Member Join Date: Feb 2010 Location: Bizarro World, Doro Nebula Posts: 12 Thanks: 1,783 Thanked 83 Times in 12 Posts	7zip treats these .001 files just like a spanned .rar file, joining them automatically as they're unpacked. No need for any extra joining software and it's nice, clean freeware. I've never had a problem with it. Don't know why no one ever seems to mention it. To find 7zip, just do a search on your engine of choice. Hope this helps.
