Are ya a gadget buff? - Page 2

Not really. But I do have an old ipod but I can't hear it anymore due to my deafness.

It's more guitars and pedals/amps i'm into. Though I am a HI-FI buff. I did buy one of those big flat screen TVs last year even though I hardly ever watch it!

I do have quite a lot of up to date technology around me i guess but i`m no gadget buff and feel they tie me to a place , and in the case of this laptop = cook me giblets

Rather be living in a manner that would free me from it all , and free me from having to remain within the boundaries of the electricity grid. Only i can`t because that`s not the way the world works. Or at least that`s not the way the world currently works

I'm saving up for a really good zoom lens next...

I have used that method succesfully for many years to sacrifice some cellphones, Leatherman-tools, pens. After that I also feel physical relief and some nice headache next morning.

I can quite safely say I'm not a gadget buff at all. I have no interest in iPhones, iPads, iAnything. I don't want an HD TV, I don't want Blu-Ray and I certainly do NOT want 3D TV.

A lot of these gadgets are dreamed up to fleece more money out of the punter, who is only too ready to stump up the readies for something that is utterly pointless - like 3D TV.

I'll upgrade my PC once in a while, but that's it.

My dad was a complete gadget nut and would buy anything (if he had the money to buy it, of course.

) I lost count of the amount of times I had to stop him buying some pointless rubbish that I KNEW he'd use precisely once, before it ended up in a cupboard gathering dust. In fact, I've just discovered an mp3 player he bought some time ago that I don't think he ever used - he'd already got one perfectly good mp3 player anyway...

That is great composition........but most people wait until they have bought their first telephoto zoom lens to take shots of the moon.........and here you have captured several moons all in one go

Or maybe this is a still life......could be titled......a bowl of peaches? or if you are into illiteration.....peaches on the beaches

...and in that location...with the see breeze....I bet you could smell the fish
