Cosimo Bottegari was an Italian lutenist and composer of the Late Renaissance period (1400-1600 AD). He was born in Florence , but spent most of his life in Munich. His only surviving music is what this disc contains called: Il Libro di canto e liuto which is just lute pieces with a soprano singing, which became an important source for Italian songs of the period. https://youtu.be/PGHupnu39VE https://youtu.be/5OPg7W__njg https://youtu.be/R6Sm-8RDuWI https://youtu.be/talsbGUcIT4 https://youtu.be/3_r1_cgSxyg |

But thanks for the heads up - I will listen to some Bottegari if I find it. You may enjoy some of J.S. Bach's lute pieces - if you haven't come across them already of course. |

Hi bloke57. rotobott once told me that youtube.com does not always work in all countries. I found that out myself when I was looking at the thread: Favorite you tube videos. I could only get about half of them. If you want to hear these lute pieces for Bottegari try going to youtube.com directly. Put in the search box his full name and the title of my disc and then hit search. It might work better then, or not.

Jeff Beck - Space for the Papa
Noisy, monotonous - but brilliantly so.
