No money will be changing hands, usually for me I exchange clips or DVDs rather than pay for them. So the negotiations centre around 'equal value' for the swap. I am happy to say the deal has been concluded and the DVD is on its way so the extract featuring Edita Brychta will be posted here in due course. I am sure I speak for all VEFers when we thank mitchspur once again for making these rare clips available in the first place and they are now gaining a new lease of life some two years later.

I entered the incorrect run time into the text on that re-up post, it should have been as shown on the JPG preview, i.e. 26s. So you are missing nothing - I know nothing about MACs but VLC Player will play back just about any file on anything. To create DVDs from VHS all you need is an DVD recorder and a suitable lead to connect the VHS player to it (probably phono to SCART) - no specific software is needed, the only problem you might get is with an NTSC rather that PAL video and that can be fixed. Take a search around the VEF help section:

Do you have this entire film short? Or is that the original poster Steve?
I have been looking for a copy of this short FOREVER.

It's not so much getting VHS to DVD, but uploading it to the computer that's the issue. And then getting it to a manageable file size, etc. My computer is old and clunky.

I don't have it but Steve does as I can see the complete 26 minute movie short on his latest list of titles available. Try a PM to him on this site or make contact via Britmovie.co.uk. where he is also a contributor but note well - if you ask for a file/DVD there on your first post you will probably be banned and Steve only swaps titles, he does not sell them - like many collectors in fact. I obviously will not be revealing his contact details here. As I posted previously the instructions to create and post a file are in the VEF 'Help' thread, the age of your PC/MAC should not really make a material difference.
