Now you are asking this question, I remember when I was about 9 to 10 years old, we were used to play soccer between friends of our age.
One of them had a younger sister. She was like a boy. Shouting, playing soccer, fighting... she still was really natural, not affected like female teenagers when they become older and when she needed to urinate, she had no problem to urinate like women do, in front of us and we were not shocked, because she urinated as often that we (boys) were used to do during all the years (almost 3 or 4 years) we played soccer with her brother and herself.

In fact in Paris, if there was no "prudish" social tradition, they could designed mixed urinals like the turkish toilets where men and women could urinate if they need.

It seems that men and women equality still suffer (even in the Paris authorities) some contradictions.

By the way... women can urinate almost in the same position as men. That's possible, but they only need to contorting their pelvis a little bit.

What separates us from the French is that we have special cubicles in streets for toilets but the only problem was you had to be finished by a certain time or the door would open!

However, our homeless seem to like craping in the street. Quite impressively I might add.

Once I almost kicked what I thought was a tree branch off the sidewalk, but stopped in time when I recognized it as a humongous piece of feces.

Wish I was always as observant on my early morning treks to the office.
