Today in British media we got the 77th version of what happened in the Skripal case. If you haven't heard it, this is what top British sleuths are now saying

The suspects are a Russian "hit-team" who infiltrated the UK, used the deadliest nerve agent on the planet to not-kill-someone -- somehow it was quite survivable, maybe they took "leisure grade" not "military grade" novichok by mistake -- and exfiltrated themselves back to... Russia, of course, where else?

Well, I don't think the "attack" took place at all, and have believed that all along. I've always thought it was a fabrication, not just from the amateur way the British presented it, but also because the whole idea is illogical. The same goes for the gas attack in Syria, btw, also illogical and obviously staged. Very amateur, imho

Still, it's good to see Sherlock stick it to the cowardly, bungling Russians. Class act, Sherlock!

Meanwhile... A professional "hit-team"! Yeah, right! Hahaha!

No it isn't. They've changed versions very often. A woman sprayed them, it came through the auto exhaust, it came from door handles, etc etc. They're going to die, now they're not. Police have named a suspect as господин боб and issued a picture for people to look out for, it is believed however that the suspected poisoner may have taken his uniform off to try to blend in better

Nah we all know it was aliens what dunnit and they replaced Putin and Trump with superior copies I think the Russians are trying anything to deflect from the whole world knowing it was them all along. We won't be cowed by him or anyone so let them come up with their ludicrous theories. at least it gives them something better to watch on their televisions.

To say how innocent they are, the Russian government are working really hard at looking guilty. It is almost enough to make me doubt their truthfulness.

The fact is that they were happy to gloat and mock when they didn't think there was anything the British or anyone else could do to penalise them for open (attempted) murder on British soil. All of this lying and obfuscation now is a compliment to successful British diplomatic efforts, which have harmed them much more than they thought would happen.
