Thanks newtonhse, I recall it having something to do with overalls. I knew the play must have been shown in the early 80s because I remember recording it, so it had to be after we got our first VCR in 1981.

Anita Carey: IMDB confirms Oates' description in post #1559 but I can't find anything about spitalhouse's mention in #1560 of 'A 20 Second Sneeze' (or similar - presumably making comparison to an orgasm) from late 70s/early 80s other than my spiel below. Though Anita did also appear in another BBC 'Play for Today' in 1980 entitled 'Ladies' which looks as if it might have been good for some exposed flesh. So far all we have on VEF for Anita is the pert-nippled canal-side walk she takes in 'I Didn't Know You Cared' (1975) at #846, posted by Steve in response to my earlier request. Anita, now in her 60s, is of course currently appearing in the BBC's long-running 'Doctors' soap series.

Rosemary Martin: According to IMDB 'A Sudden Wrench' was TX'd on BBC in 1982 as part of the 'Play for Today' series. She is also credited with an extended nude scene from an episode of 'Pickersgill People' TX'd on BBC2 in 1978. See my request for this at #573 but mitchspur's response at #585 suggests this is actually 'The 30 Second Sneeze' which is (virtually) the title spitalhouse puts forward for Anita Carey. So both Anita Carey and Rosemary Martin might have got their kit off in that program - what a find that would be! There are no clips currently on VEF for Rosemary. She sadly died in 1998.

Any topless/FF clips of either of these lovely women would be appreciated.

I feel sure the motor racing show with rosemary was 'Driving ambition'. It was rubbish. It did however have a scene with her in the bath, which did make the other 8 hours bearable, if only to see if she would do it again. She didn't. Like I said. Rubbish.

The play in which Rosemary Martin cavorts in the bath with her husband was definitely Sudden Wrench, because I now recall the actor who played her husband was Dave Hill, and he is also credited as appearing in this play.

Also, let me assure my ol' buddy Moon Raker that in the play for which he has obligingly provided the proper title, namely The 30 Second Sneeze, both Ms Martin and Ms Carey definitely get their respective kits off.

Another one not mentioned here, was called Devices and Desides filmed back in the UK during the 1980's. I got a set of three VHS tapes at local library, and at beginning to tape two, was Hillary (?) running into the ocean at night, letting her uppers flop all around.

I think she got bumped off by tape three.

i thought the beeb were going to release a huge back catalogue of progs at some stage

i remember the conversation with grade on r4 when he was in charge

a lot of stuff pre vhs might be availabe etc

anyone know more

Remember this is the same BBC that binned hundreds of hours of Dr Who episodes that would have been worth a fortune now. Never underestimate the limits of stupidity of those at the very top of big organisations.

Devices and Desires was one in a series of PD James' Detective Dalgleish adaptations starring the excellent Roy Marsden. It has been re-aired a couple of times fairly recently on ITV4 - but with the nudie bits removed so that it can be shown during the day. The name of the actress to whom you refer is Suzanne Crowley, who happens to have a couple of posts dedicated to her on this very thread I think.

Has anyone posted uncensored screencaps from Bizarre? (Classic Canadian show that had a lot of topless nudity but it was only aired on Showtime in it's uncensored form.)
