Year 2018 and why there is no streaming hosts on forums?

Over the years and modern age of file hosting services i've seen most of them moved to streaming (like openload, rapidvideo, vidoza etc.) for videos/movies. Today there are a lot of movie sites and adult sites with big streaming video players.
So we can now easily play and watch mainstream and adult movies via video hosts by streaming. Even 1080p quality. (No need to download torrent or file host file).
However forums are still continue with old classic file hosts inside all of their posts. Its still okay for files other than videos but for vidz i think it should be flow to streaming. I dont understan why it is still continue with old style. Maybe people here explain this?

Ummm, maybe because if we allow links to streaming sites then we lose members because they will go directly to those streaming sites instead of visiting this forum.

That is beside the fact that this version of vBulletin does not support uploading of streaming video by our own members.

From what I've found on streaming sites (at least on models I follow) the quality of video found there is not usually as good as what I find on forums.That being said I don't look for much content made recently. For people looking for stuff not made recently, this is the best source for me for vintage !

No i didn't mean tube sites. I mean video hosts like openload, rapidvideo etc. They allow embedding inside of forum posts (if it supports). So we, users dont go anywhere and may watch it inside forums. (Actually we go somewhere by clicking download links by filehosts)

They support 1080p and 720p videos. I saw it on some hollywood movie streaming site.
For the quality of vintage videos i think most of them are as same as tubes.

They still have to visit this forum to get the link to go to the download site. The sites you refer to have limitations on file types that can be used for streaming. If you try to upload an avi it cannot be shared.

This version of VBulletin does not support embedded video.

It's a fair question and the staff has in my opinion given a fair answer as well. Actually, uptobox automatically convert your uploaded files to streaming videos but they simply don't look like the real thing. And that is also my experience after uploading a few videoes to popular streaming hosts which re-encode the videoes: If you want the best quality streaming is simply not good enough. Same goes for 1080 material. There is a big difference between streaming 1080 and the equivalent blu ray rip. I'm talking about full movies though.

Of course, this doesn't matter if you don't care about quality but want accessibility and saving hard disc space. And that is why streaming sites might be an option for random clips or shorter scenes. But for full movies most of us collectors want the best quality, don't we?
