I use Pale Moon 27.9 successfully with IHG. The newer PM release doesn't support alot of add-ons migrated over from the firefox repo. I like NoScript and Ublock myself.. Firefox still offers these essential add-ons through the newer releases. I use FF for common browsing, and PaleMoon for VEF and IHG. But after reading the articles, it looks like google chrome is the new standard, Can't ascertain whether IHG works on chrome or not.

What message do you get exactly? There should be more information after "Request Aborted", like "Can't find image on page!". But this is not always the case.

Open a couple of images in your browser before you start grabbing.
This way you make sure the images are indeed available and you move possible ad pages out of the way. It could be that the server presents an ad page instead of the image page on the first request.

I also would be interested in bulk downloaders, but have not found one yet. I am thinking about making one myself.

The exact message is indeed "Request Aborted! Can't find image on page!"

I've tried in both the thread view and opening a separate window for the post I want.

I can open individual images. From those I can also open the IB gallery. I've attempted to DL using the gallery but, same abort message is returned.

Perhaps could a few fine Members who can DL IB files share the File host code they have? I can re-verify mine.

Or other ideas?

That message appears when the page that should contain the image was successfully loaded but the link to the image cannot be found on it.
Either the imagebam server does not give the expected page to the grabber or something in between manipulates the HTML.
Hard to tell. There are ways to analyze this, but these cannot be explained in a few sentences (logging, wireshark,...)

Here is my hostcode for imagebam:
URL pattern:

Search Pattern:

Thanks! With a few random tests of different hosts that seems to have done it. I appear to be back in business.

Tried v1.7.0.4c but still can't get recent Imagebam pics dowloaded, like these for example:

I also tried some older stuff I know I had downloaded without a problem and they also do not work anymore.

Any clues what to do?

this search pattern worked on those single posts..

i went to host file editor, and then chose select a host, then scrolled way, way down to imagebam, and copied the search pattern

Here's what worked for me:
- downloaded IHG v1.7.0.4c then,
- clicked "Update from Host File" in the editor then,
- verified the Imagebam URL Pattern and Search Pattern were as Halvar posted @ post 195

That got IHG working with imagebam again for me.
