There's no need to be angry. My guess is far from absurd or ridiculous. But of course, if you want to take the words out of context, then everything is possible.

Actually your own objection makes the point. Start with context: Don't Terri Welles' comments have to be put in context? She has a long history with Playboy including a period of conflict and litigation. What was the context of her remark? Then there's another context: How can she possibly "know" this about ALL the PMOYs? Does her list include Eugena Washington? Or Claire Sinclair who was in a relationship with Hefner's son? The conjecture is, it seems, absurd and ridiculous. What could possibly justify jumping to conclusions about Ms. Edmondson when she has done nothing to lead to those conclusions? Obviously Hefner was involved with some, maybe even many, PMOYs but aren't the women entitled to their own biographies? If they say they were involved then that's that, but if they don't then what's the percentage in making guesses that in no way can be either proved or disproved and adds nothing to the pleasures they have given with modeling? I should add that Hefner claimed that he was "faithful" while he was married to Kimberley Conrad so that also adds another "context" to whatever Ms Welles said. The bottom line is that speculation is pointless at best.

All of this is circumstantial evidence--that some (repeat, SOME, not all) models, even some who had been Playmates, have either escorted, "partied a lot", "traveled a lot" or had "mutually beneficial relationships" or whatever cute phrases one wants to use. But I believe some of it to be true, and not just from the articles referred to. About a year ago, a guy sent me a message on Twitter. I soon realized that he was a "hobbyist". If you've never heard the term used that way, it's a guy who regularly pays to meet women. I can't remember all of the details, but apparently he had figured out that I had briefly talked to a well known internet soft core model on Twitter some time earlier. He wrongly assumed that I had actually met her. I explained to him that I had not. However, I also told him that I had recently seen an ad listing someone using disguised pics of her. I sent him the link, and thought I'd never hear from him again. I assumed the ad was fake, and figured he'd learn the hard way. However...a few days later, he sent me a DM. The ad was real. He actually got a date with her--her last such date before retiring from that. (I'll spare you the details, since this is a family forum. ) For proof, he even sent me a pic of her changing in his hotel room. He wasn't supposed to take any pics, but he did anyway when she was looking away. Now, I know what you're thinking. He found a pic of her online and used it to fool me. I thought that as well. But then, a few days later, he asks if I'd like to join in a live video chat with her. Of course I said yes. I was dumbfounded. It was actually her--talking to me live. I was so shocked, I barely knew what to say. They discussed their date, and she knew that I knew too. I talked to them for a few minutes, then felt like a third wheel and left. But the story doesn't end there. Talking to him other times, he told me about at least one Playmate of the Month from more than 10 years ago who he "met", as well as several other models and porn stars. After that video chat, I was willing to believe anything he said. He had a list of models he liked and would find a way to get with many (but not all) of them. I guess if you are willing to spend four or five figures for one day or night, it can happen. However, even he said it didn't always happen. Not every girl does. But when you consider who some hang out with, it makes more sense now. Remember also that modeling doesn't always pay as well for some as it does for others. Please note: I have no first hand knowledge of any of this--just what that guy proved to me about his own experiences. It took a lot to convince me but he did and I got a brief glimpse into that world from afar. Another important point: if you think a girl might be available UTR (under the radar) keep it to yourself. If they are not openly listed, they want it kept quiet, and we need to respect their wishes. Many of them eventually get married and start a new life. I'm sure they'd like to keep this in the past if they can.

And yet you don't provide the links so people can judge the veracity for themselves. Nothing is "confirmed" by a website given how easy it is to generate fake information. Look at the cover of the March 23rd issue of Time

Didn't the term 'rogue Playmates' refer to Playmates who had done nude modeling besides Playboy? Not to Playmates who had done sex work?

Anybody can type a list of names; somebody could take random members of this list and claim that they are all sneaking behind fastfood joints and stealing burgers out of the trash bins. There is absolutely nothing that backs up these claims. And, as pointed out previously, it's easy to see how bogus the escort pages themselves can be. The beautiful Elisa Bridges was listed on one site as being available for years after she had passed away. This list is nothing but fake news; now, is it possible that some of the women on this list have done some of the things implied? Sure, but what's the point? Unless there is concrete evidence all you have is sordid gossip and frankly the need for gossip and pretending to know such things says more about the gossiper than the victim of the gossip. This is a dead story.
