There's a very fine line between bein' a slob and ...........

Anyway, does buying the best universal remote control count so it can hold all the other 7 remotes at hand count so ya don't have to dig around and swap them while in use

I also remember a radio competition where listeners, girls actually, shared their stories about how lazy or slobbish their husbands or boyfriends were, I remember the winner's call.
She said her boyfriend was so lazy he had a clock on either side of the bed so If he woke in the middle of the night he didn't have to turn around to find out what time it was. He's already in bed and he managed to take being lazy too a new level, I admire that

Default Car Cleaning, lack of

I never clean our car or van.
I spend most of my life at the wheel so I'm buggered if I'm wasting my spare time lavishing attention on them. The only exception is if they're being sold or put in for service or repair. Even then it's only a quick wash.
Our current van is coming up to being three years old and apart from the aforementioned exceptions, I can honestly say I've never cleaned it.
Mrs S moans but I've never seen her getting the hoover out.

I'll never understand why my GF needs a stuffed toy giraffe and pig on the bed

Then again, being a slob, she can never understand why I throw them on the floor

I have to throw the soft toys on the floor every night.
Why did she buy a cuddly horse the size of a sheep? I've stuffed it into the space between a wardrobe and the ceiling in the spare room.

Default Bank Holiday

Our kitchen looked like a bombsite this morning.
Three nights on the piss over Bank Holiday and there's a pile of dishes in the sink. It reminds me of what we did one Christmas to avoid the mess and work. We bought a load of paper plates and disposable cutlery that could just be chucked after one use. Apart from the cost, one major downside was that the plates were too floppy to handle when drunk.

I am not sure if I am a slob or ingeniously lazy. Beans on toast? Two slices of bread in the toaster and the beans in one of those toaster pockets in the third toaster slot. No hob, microwave or saucepan involved, less washing up and the mitigating plea of doing it to establish ones energy saving green credentials

Default Summers hols

My firm is shut down two weeks for the (northern hemisphere) summer holidays. As a single forty-something recently divorced bloke, what the funk am I supposed to do? All I've done is drink myself to death, eat takeaways and exhaust my supply of clean cutlery and crockery. I've started using the paper plates we had in the kitchen cupboard for parties.
