I can post things on this forum using Internet Explorer (I posted this using IE 8). However, when I use Firefox Quantum 58.0.1, I can't edit posts or make any new ones for some reason.

I am having trouble uploading an avatar image, i have checked that it is 8kb and 90x90 pixels but when i select it i can see it but when i click save i get an ' Upload failed ' error, any advice would be welcome

Post the image and I'll have a crack at it for you.

Many thanks, i have sorted it by making the image 80 x 80 and it worked but it is very small, not sure how i can make it appear bigger but stay within the size restraints

Well, you have not been posting attachments from what I see, that was disabled here many moons ago.

If you are using the Pimp&Host plugin and it is no longer working, then something is blocking that script. Usually it is Easylist in AdBlockPlus that does this, so you need to allow the script or disable Easylist in AdBlockPlus.
