There was guy in my neighbourhood called shoeshine. He had really black hair. I only met him once in a dodgy local football club. His hair was caked in shoe polish as we say here over the pond. He stank of kiwi. And it ran down his face at times. I would rather just whack it off. Nobody goes bald in my family. That scares me because we must be aliens.

I don't think bald looks bad.
It's easy to say maybe when you have long hair but I have to cover the inlets too...
...but for many years I had a crew cut and was pleased with that.

A good wig you don't see, a bad wig is a shame.
I think I can understand why a man wants a wig. I mean, we all want the opposite. Long hair wants short, short wants long, straight wants curly and curly wants straight, etc.

The worst thing is the "Bobby Moore" look. If you go bald a comb over never hides the fact. But in the 70s men had hideous hair, so the bald look was uncool. My old man had a big cheesy tashe and a hair do even the sweeney never had.
