Just an FYI. Staff has the ability to send PM's to any member who has a full inbox. We can override the quota and they will receive the PM.

Seriously? Thanks Jen, I didn't know that. I thought only Admins could do it. I haven't had that problem yet, but it's good to know

A bigger problem with PMs is that Members can switch off their pop-up notification of PMs, and they don't notice when one or more PMs arrive. They usually do this when they are exploring their options early in their Membership and then forget they did it. I know this because I did it myself

It's true what Estreeter says about the display in the top right, but many don't look. I didn't either until I discovered the pop-up was essential
