Greenman I totally agree! I've also now found 2 versions by Henry Mancini and a funk version by The Naked Truth, although only a sampler. There is also a Joe Loss version on the vinyl "Pop Dance Party" but I don't know if it's the same as the one I have already

I was looking for the Naked Truth version a couple of weeks back but couldn't even find the sampler!

The Jow Loss version too is missing from my collection. Someone has used it here in a godawful mashup with Michael Jackson. Click at your own risk!

Yeah that's the same sampler I found. I've bought myself a copy of the Link Protrudi album, as there are some pretty awesome bits of guitar work on it. Thinking about putting together a dropbox folder for all this stuff, would anyone else like to collaborate?

Apart from a few rarities most of this stuff is "find-able" if you dig deep enough.

Hi again everyone. Am currently in the process of making my own recording of "Crumpet Voluntary" from Steptoe and Son. Drum beat was easy enough, doing my best to recreate the sax and piano digitally. Will upload to my Soundcloud when it's finished. Anyone else found anymore music?

Just wondering if anyone has a copy of The Stripper as recorded by Spike Jones' New Band? Seems to only feature on one album: My Man which isn't available on CD or digital - only 2nd hand vinyl.

Been having a look but can't seem to see it anywhere, which isn't to say there isn't a rip or recording out there. I'd be willing to get a copy of the vinyl, as I have the facility to rip it to digital.

I can find many "radio" sites which claim to have it, but most either don't work or a front end for searching YouTube for recordings which match the approximate name that you are looking for.
