Take a car that would be fucked if it ever met a speed bump. Cover it in adverts. Have it driven by an egotistical arsehole and pay him ludicrous sums of money. To spend an hour or so driving it round and round and round and round and round and round, to end up back where you've started. Pretend that changing tyres and putting fuel in a tank is not only not interesting, but somehow a cunning ploy; caution: it may actually turn out to be the highlight of the event. Thrill as it's quite likely that a race will rely on breakdowns to enable an overtaking manoeuvre.

Formula One. [The event where people living in Silverstone will find it cheaper and easier to go to the Belgian race than the one on their own doorstep.]. No wonder they named it Grand Prix.

4. Apple i phones - I have never owned one. Have held one, can admire the detailing and build quality, BUT... saw the latest one in shop window over Christmas : £1100 ... for a phone !!! more than I paid for my car !

9. Sue Barker - Grinning, irritating, smarmy, talentless. Sharp as a marble.

10. I'm a Celebrity, etc etc - most of them aren't Celebrities; most of them are as good at surviving in the jungle, as Stephen Hawking is at breakdancing. Push them out of the helicopter over a crocodile infested swamp and see who doesn't get eaten .. now, There's a show I would watch !

I got conned in to going to see him in Torquay some years ago. No fibs here… I fell asleep and left at the interval. The local Wetherspoons (which is also overrated) was more appealing.

Gareth Southgate… No! I’m not jumping on the back of his penalty miss, that was genuinely unfortunate, can happen to the best…. Take Stuart Pierce as an example.

Even now, I still can’t understand what Brian Little ever sore in him. He was fortunate to be playing with some good defenders, because as a right back I have seen him “skinned” and left for dead so many times, hence he became a centre back to hide his blushes. Can’t ever remember him putting in a winning tackle, but then I might have popped for a piss to beat the half time rush and missed that one.
