Just started watching Ash vs. Evil Dead belatedly via Virgin boxset,It's fast frenetic andthe gore is pretty much non stop.Mr Campbell wears well and his co stars Dana deLorenzo and Ray Santiago give able support considering neither were born when Bruce first went to the tool shed..Groovy..

Sadly after season 3, Campbell has revealed that he is done with Ash. Who will protect us from the Evil Dead now?...not that Ash was much chop at it.

She's actually coming to terms with her feelings, but things do progress in that regard..and in season two and three the show deservedly ranks at 95% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Finished season 4 of Strike Back, now watching season 8 of Hawaii Five-0 (the current version, not the original).

Strike Back: season 4 was the best, episode 1 seemed a little slow but after that the show got much better. There's still season 5 with the same cast and after that season 6 which is a reboot of the show.

I can reveal that GOTHAM and Marvel's Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D will be returning next year to British satellite television but with reduced episodes in S.H.I.E.L.D's case, just 13 rather than the usual 22. GOTHAM S5 will definitely be the last season of this prequel to Batman.

That's a good thing. I found myself skipping episodes in the earlier, longer seasons. Just tell a story, don't pad it out with villain of the week.
Onto season three of Killjoys. That show has come a long way since it's early days.

Apropos the above, I must say, that so far season two of Shield is pretty good.

Finished watching S2 of The Girlfriend Experience. I don't think it was as good as S1 but it still had a lot of the stuff I liked, great cinematography, moody atmosphere, beautiful locations, and quite a bit of nudity.

the looming tower:
traces the rising threat of Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida in the late '90s and how a rivalry between the FBI and CIA during the time period may have inadvertently set the path for the attacks of 9/11. it's based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book of the same name by Lawrence Wright

I have watched several TV series and TV mini-series, most of them drama and crime and thrillers, in the last 7 years that are made in Scandinavian countries and they have consistently been pretty good.
