I best remember being in my Dad's car going backwards down a hill laughing at my Dad running to save the car and me...

Well...now that you mention it..

I think I remember being in the womb.

(I can sense some of you pulling away from me here). Well, you asked.

Really, I know, it sounds like bullshit, but that's what I remember. I can remember other very young moments as a reference point, but before that, I can remember being in a place that was very calm and peaceful. I had no body, I was just sort of floating in a clowdy, airy, place...just my consciousness..it's hard to really explain it.

I was very content there, no anxiety at all...and I can't help but think that it's the place we will return to after death. And that's very comforting to me.

Besides that, one of the best early memories I have is being in the backyard, looking at the flowers in the beds along the yard. I must have been only around one or two years old. I remember the colors of the flowers being overwhelming...like big plastic multi-colored things. Very similar to a vision on psilocybin, or mushrooms, or such.

I really think that's why little kids always look so tripped out. They're always looking around, eyes wide open, with that amazed look on their face. I think they're trippin'! Just think about it..if you were nowhere forever, just floating around, and suddenly you were confronted with life, with colors, and sounds all around you...well, you were. We just forgot.

I remember my brother when he was born. I was 2 and wondered what it was. Sometimes I still do.

Injecting liquid nitrogen into my scrotum, drinking a uranium smoothie and then running naked up Ben Nevis .

I had whooping cough in the winter of 60/61 when I was two. I can still recall fighting for breath.

The earliest I can positively date is my grandmother coming into the room to tell me I had a brother. There are several more from that era, but hey it's so long ago.
