It probably was. The three Ospreys that passed over North London this morning (directly over Harrow on the Hill and heading south-east) at about 11am are thought to have been carrying members of the SAS and/or American special forces.

Seventy million dollar aircraft(each) flying over London is quite a sight but surely we have our own security aircraft that they could have used. Mind you these things have a top speed of 315mph and are heavily armed with machine guns so no-one is going to try and shoot at those. No Oto, flying well away from the attic in the distance but made a hell of a noise up there. I think, they overflew another four times last evening.

Donald Trump: Theresa May and I have 'very strong' relationship
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-44821976

Does he seriously think anyone will buy that line of old bollocks

Must be some bi-polar characteristic as it's only a day since he was throwing his weight round saying the proposed UK-EU deal will kill UK/USA trade. He's a total buffoon who makes Boris Johnson look like a genius.
Yes he is a world leader, the people of the US voted him in so we should as we do with any head of state treat him with courtesy (although the baby balloon is spot on) but I honestly have no interest in what the deranged fuckwit has to say on any subject.

Mr Trump - who has been a long-time supporter of Brexit - said Mrs May had not listened to his advice on how to do a Brexit deal, saying: "I would have done it much differently."

It's not a TV show turnip head, sort your own issues out like your Mexican wall and mass shootings and just STFU

According to Trump this can all be easily explained by the dishonest 'Fake News' media.

Yes, his own words from his own mouth in a fully recorded interview are 'Fake News'

The Robot Revolution is coming, just not quite the way we expected.

"Robots will lead to more human trafficking, slavery, report says"

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/techn...cid=spartanntp

Quote:
The rise of robot manufacturing will dramatically alter the labor market in southeast Asia and result in a spike in human trafficking, slavery and other labor abuses, according to a report released Thursday.

The "Human Rights Outlook 2018" report from corporate risk-analysis consultancy Verisk Maplecroft plays out the scenarios of a United Nations prediction that 56 percent of workers in Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam will lose their jobs to automated alternatives over the next two decades.

Those countries are specifically at risk for increased slavery and human trafficking due to the "dependence of the workforce on low-skilled jobs and existing high levels of labor rights violations," the report said.

"Displaced workers without the skills to adapt or the cushion of social security will have to compete for a diminishing supply of low-paid, low-skilled work in what will likely be an increasingly exploitative environment," Alexandra Channer, the consultancy's head of human rights, said in a statement.

"Without concrete measures from governments to adapt and educate future generations to function alongside machines, it could be a race to the bottom for many workers."

The report highlights Vietnam as the country at greatest risk among the five countries included in the research, with 36 million workers expected to lose their jobs to automation. In addition, the report cites the garment, textile and footwear industry as being particularly at risk from automation.

Donald Trump has left the country. Did you see the crowds of people in Trafalgar Square for the Anti-Trump rally. One poster I noticed said "MEN OF QUALITY DON'T FEAR EQUALITY" I thought that was clever. The flying balloon went down well too. One thing I am not in favour of is dragging young children along carrying placards with slogans that they are clearly too young to understand.

Speaking of children did you know that some have never roller-skated, played conkers, climbed trees, made daisy chains or just played outside on a bike? What sort of children are we producing these days and denying these simple pleasures afforded to us as a right of passage? Parents want to take their kids to the park but are just too busy. My father was busy, worked long hours but he still found the time to play cricket with me or help me throw my javelin(in a designated area of course) or my mother would take me and my sister for a picnic in some parks. Kids are missing out on being kids, and that is a tragedy.
